- cornmeal2 cup
- sweet sprinkle1/3 cup
- sugar3/4 cup
- milk4/5 cup
- baking powder1 tablespoon
- oil (corn or canola)1/2 cup
- Eggs2 unit(s)
- Pinch of salt1 to taste
- In a pan put the cornmeal, sprinkle, salt, oil and milk.
- Place over medium heat and stir constantly until it comes out of the pan.
- Let cool.
- After the dough is cold, place it in a bowl and add the eggs one by one, beating in the mixer so that the mixture is homogeneous.
- Add the fennel, the yeast and your dough will be ready.
- To make the balls, place in a glass or cup a little sprinkle (a shallow tablespoon), right after, put a spoon of the dough and with the glass in your hand, make rotating movements so that the balls are shaped.
- Bake in a preheated oven in a greased shape at 200 degrees for approximately 20 - 30 min.
- 📍 TIP: Use fennel or a little coconut in the dough.
