- Oil1 cup
- Sugar2 cup
- Cornmeal2 cup
- Wheat flour4 tablespoon
- Milk2 cup
- Chemical yeast1 tablespoon
- In a mixer, beat the eggs, oil and milk for at least 2 minutes.
- Add the sugar and beat for another 2 minutes.
- Add the cornmeal and wheat flour.
- Beat until a very homogeneous dough forms.
- Pour the dough into a pan greased with margarine and floured with wheat flour.
- Place in a preheated oven at 280°C for at least 30 minutes.
- Pierce the cake with a toothpick. If it comes out clean, it's ready.
- Serve with coffee or tea.
