- Recipe
- Corn Couscous (1.5 cup)230 g
- Cooked green corn (grains only)170 g
- Milk250 ml
- Oil1/2 cup
- Salt1 teaspoon
- Peeled pine nuts (15 pieces)80 g
- Grated semi-cured cheese80 g
- Chopped green onions to taste
- eggs2 unit(s)
- Oil to grease the mold1 tablespoon
- Chemical Yeast1 dessert spoon
- Cook the pine nuts in a pressure cooker for 30 minutes from the moment the pressure cooker takes on pressure and peel (see pine nut soup recipe). Chop the pine nuts and add a pinch of salt.
- In a blender add the milk, couscous, cooked corn (a drained can), salt, eggs and oil. Beat for a minute or two until you have a homogeneous mass. Take it to a basin.
- Add the chopped chives, half-cured cheese, chopped pine nuts and mix everything. Finally add the yeast and stir slowly just to incorporate it into the dough.
- Transfer to a greased shape with oil (can be cake, bread or whatever you have at home) and bake in medium oven for 40 minutes or until golden.
- To unmold, wait for it to cool down a little or eat it warm, even cutting straight from the mold. Once cool, cut into slices and place in a skillet, oven or grill with a little butter. I want to see you not moan while eating. Have a good time.
