- Milk to taste
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Breadcrumbs to taste
- Oil to taste
- Cut the onion into rings. Detach them and let them soak in ice water for 15 minutes to remove the acidity.
- Meanwhile, put the wheat flour in a bowl and season with salt, pepper and paprika. Keep adding cold milk until it becomes a homogeneous cream, neither too thick nor too thin.
- In another container, put the breadcrumbs and season with just salt.
- Remove the onions from the sauce and dry them well before you start to coat them. Dry one by one.
- Turn on the heat of the oil, which should be hot, but not so much to allow time to cook the onion internally.
- To coat, pass the onion in the cream of flour with milk, wrap the whole ring and then coat in the breadcrumbs and take it to fry. Remove when they are golden.
