- warm milk200 ml
- Organic Yeast10 g

- Sugar5 tablespoon
- Salt2 teaspoon

- Wheat flour1 kg
- Ground beef1 kg
- Onion2 unit(s)
- Tomato2 unit(s)
- Parsley1 to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Lemon2 unit(s)
- In a bowl, dissolve the yeast in the warm milk.
- Add 1 tablespoon of salt, sugar, oil and 1 egg.
- Add the flour, stirring until it comes away from the bowl.
- Let rest for 40 minutes or until doubled in size.
- For the stuffing in a bowl place the ground beef, 1 spoon of salt, juice of 2 lemons, chopped onions and tomatoes, pepper and parsley.
- After seasoning the meat, place it in the colander to remove excess liquid.
- After the dough has doubled in size, using a rolling pin, open the dough and cut into circles of approximately 10 cm, fill with the meat and close in the shape of an esfiha.
- Place the esfihas in an oiled baking dish with the seams facing down.
- Brush the esfihas with the egg and bake in a preheated oven at 250 degrees for 25 minutes or until golden.
