- Large apple4 unit(s)
- Egg2 unit(s)
- Sugar100 g
- Pinch of salt to taste
- Rum3 tablespoon
- Vanilla extract1 coffee spoon
- Butter100 g
- The eggs and butter must be at room temperature and the oven must be preheated to 180°.
- Chop the apples into pieces of about 3 centimeters and soak in ice water and lemon drops
- In a bowl, sift the flour, baking powder and salt.
- In a large bowl, beat the eggs until foamy. Then, always beating, gradually add the sugar, rum and vanilla.
- Gently incorporate the mixture of dry ingredients and butter little by little until you obtain a homogeneous dough.
- Drain the apple pieces and incorporate them into the mixture.
- Pour the dough into a greased and floured pan and bake for 50 minutes in an oven at 180°C, until firm in the center. Do the toothpick test.
