- Breadcrumbs1/2 cup

- Green Scent (parsley, chives) to taste
- Eggs3 unit(s)
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Olive oil to taste
- If the cod is salty, place it in a bowl with plenty of water. Change the water in the bowl every 1 hour for 5 hours.
- Peel the potatoes, cut them into medium pieces and place in a pan with water. Take it to high heat.
- When it boils, mark 15 minutes and then turn off the heat (the potatoes should be very soft). Transfer the potatoes to a large plate. Let it rest for 5 minutes for the excess water to evaporate.
- Remove the cod from the bowl and place in the same pan (potatoes) and place over high heat. When it boils, let it cook for 5 minutes and turn off the heat. Transfer the cod to a plate and let it cool.
- While the cod is cooling, pass the potatoes through the ricer, or break up with a wooden spoon, to form a puree.
- When the cod is cool, shred it with your hands. Put a pan on the fire, add the oil and let it heat up. Then add the onion and garlic. Saute for 4 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Place the shredded cod in the pan and mix very well. Let it cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Turn off the heat and let cool.
- In a container, mix the cod with the potato, eggs and breadcrumbs very well. Season with salt, pepper and the green smell.
- With your hands, make balls with the cod dough the size you want. Put some dumplings to fry.
- When the dumplings are golden brown, carefully remove them from the pan with a slotted spoon and place them on a plate lined with paper towels. Serve hot.
