- Cassava800 g
- Margarine1 tablespoon
- Green Smell to taste
- Salt to taste
- Oregano to taste
- FOR THE FILLING 2 tablespoons of oil 1/2 small onion chopped 2 minced garlic cloves 2 small tomatoes, chopped 300g of dried meat, already desalted, cooked and shredded. Black pepper to taste Green smell to taste 1 tablespoon cream cheese 2 slices of mozzarella (we will use when assembling).
- ROOF slices of mozzarella Tomato in slices Oregano
- DOUGH PREPARATION In a pan with water add the cassava and a little salt. Cook well, until the cassava becomes dough, in the texture that you can mash with a fork. Once the cassava is cooked, drain the water and mash the cassava with a fork or if you prefer, use a potato masher. Add salt, parsley and oregano to taste in the cassava dough and mix well.
- FILLING PREPARATION Heat the oil in a pan and add the onion. Saute well until wilted. Now add the minced garlic cloves, mix well and sauté a little longer. Done that, also add the chopped tomatoes and stir so that it is very homogeneous. Add the desalted, cooked and shredded jerky and mix everything very well. Now add the black pepper and let it sauté for about 5 minutes. Now add the cream cheese and chopped green smell, mix and the filling is ready.
- SNACK ASSEMBLY Grease a frying pan with a little butter, and put it on the stove over low heat. Put the dough until all the pan is lined, kneading with a spoon to be evenly spread. Now add the jerky stuffing that we made. Add the two slices of mozzarella on top. Cover with the rest of the cassava dough. Use the spoon again and press well, so that the dough is well closed. Put a lid on and let it brown over very low heat. Once browned on one side, turn over to brown on the other. Now to finish, cover with the mozzarella cheese and the sliced tomato. Sprinkle some oregano.
