- Wheat Flour2 cup
- Ginger Powder1 tablespoon
- Cinnamon Powder1 tablespoon
- Clove1/4 teaspoon
- Nutmeg1/2 teaspoon
- Baking Powder1/4 tablespoon
- Salt1/4 teaspoon
- Butter100 g
- Brown Sugar1/3 cup
- Cane molasses1/3 cup
- Egg1 unit(s)
- In a bowl mix the wheat flour, powdered ginger, powdered cinnamon, nutmeg, powdered cloves, baking powder and salt. Reserve. In a mixer, beat the butter with the sugar on medium speed until creamy. Add the cane molasses and the egg and beat for another 2 minutes to incorporate.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the mixer, beating after each addition until a smooth dough forms. Take to fridge to freeze for 2 hours. Sprinkle a little flour on the table to roll out the dough and a little on the dough. Open gently with the rolling pin, then use the cutters to cut the cookies. Put it in a form with butter paper. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes or until golden.
