- Wheat flour500 g
- Warm water250 ml
- Organic Dry Yeast10 g
- Olive oil80 ml
- Sugar2 tablespoon
- Egg1 unit(s)
- Salt1 coffee spoon
- Sieved yolk for brushing1 unit(s)
- Chopped ham250 g
- Chopped Mozzarella Cheese250 g
- Parsley and Oregano to taste
- I started mixing all the dry ingredients of the dough and gradually adding the liquids, I put some flour on the bench and kneaded the dough for 5 minutes, transferred it to a container, covered it with a cloth and let it rest for 20 minutes.
- I mixed the ingredients for the stuffing (ham, cheese, oregano and chopped parsley)
- After 20 minutes the dough doubled in size, I divided it into equal parts and weighed it so that the buns were the same size, I opened the dough in my hand, put the stuffing and closed it, I made round buns but it can be of any shape. I put the breads on a baking sheet greased with olive oil, brushed them all with the sifted yolk and put them in the oven at 200° for 35 minutes. Yields 10 buns of 90g each.
