- Wheat for kibbeh2 cup
- Hot water1 cup
- Ground beef500 g
- Salt preparation with herbs1 tablespoon
- Onion1/2 unit(s)
- Red Pepper1/2 unit(s)
- Garlic1 unit(s)
- Mint leaves10 unit(s)
- Mozzarella cheese150 g
- Cottage cheese3 tablespoon
- Olive oil to taste
- Add the wheat for kibbeh and half a tablespoon of the seasoning based on salt and spices and add boiling water. Let it hydrate for at least 15 minutes
- Season the ground beef with finely chopped onion, finely chopped garlic, chopped red pepper, finely chopped mint leaves and the rest of the salt prepared with herbs and spices (it replaces industrialized seasonings)
- After the kibe flour is hydrated, add the seasoned meat and mix very well (you can use your hands) until everything is homogeneous.
- Grease a pan with olive oil and spread half of the dough, place spoonfuls of curd on this half of the dough, spread and distribute the mozzarella
- Put the rest of the dough forming a second layer, covering the mozzarella. Drizzle with olive oil to taste and bake in a preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until the top is done.
- Eat it with an afternoon snack, or in one of the main meals accompanied by salad, vegetables or the way you prefer
