- Tuscan sausage1 unit(s)
- Chopped seedless tomato1/4 cup
- Chopped green onion1 tablespoon
- Olive oil1 dessert spoon
- Spicy paprika to taste
- Mozzarella cheese slice2 unit(s)
- Remove the skin from the sausage, knead well and mix with the tomato, chives and paprika until a homogeneous mass is obtained. Reserve.
- Cut the bread in half lengthwise and remove the core.
- Fold the cheese slices and place 1 piece on each half of the bread.
- Cover the two pieces of bread with the seasoned sausage dough.
- Heat the oil in a non-stick frying pan and place the buns face down, sausage side down.
- Start by frying over high heat to seal, then lower the heat and cover the skillet to cook completely.
- Drip a little water if it's starting to burn. Serve immediately.
