- Recipe
- Water1/2 cup
- Milk1/4 cup
- Oil (for the dough)1/4 cup
- Sweet sprinkle3 cup
- Salt to taste
- Coarsely grated provolone cheese150 g
- Whole egg1 unit(s)
- Oil (for frying) to taste
- Bring the water, milk and oil to a boil. Reserve.
- In a bowl, mix the flour and salt. Then scald the sprinkle with the mixture of boiled liquids. Let cool.
- Add the egg and knead with your hand, observing the point of the dough (it should be without sticking to your hands or too dry).
- Add the grated cheese and knead well. Roll the cookies into sticks about 1 to 2 cm thick and fry them in warm oil.
- Heads up : Always fry the cookies in warm oil. Too hot oil makes the cookies pop. Be careful 😉
