- Flour5 cup
- 1 sachet of dry yeast10 g
- Milk2 cup
- Oil1/2 cup
- Sugar2 tablespoon
- Egg to taste
- Oregano to taste
- Mix and let it rest covered with a dish towel for 30 minutes, 1 cup of warm milk with 1 cup of flour, the spoons of sugar and the sachet of dry yeast.
- After 30 minutes. Add the oil, the other cup of milk, also warm, and the rest of the flour, taking care to add the last cup little by little.
- Knead the dough well. If you need more flour, add it little by little.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle shape. Place the stuffing of your choice in the middle as shown in the photo, I used grated pepperoni and vinaigrette.
- Cut several strips from the filling side. Now with these strips make the braid, taking first one strip, then the other on top, always crossing the ends of the dough.
- Brush the buns with egg yolk and sprinkle with oregano.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for approximately 45 min. That's what I always say here, it will depend from oven to oven
