- tapioca starch (already hydrated)7 cup
- fresh grated coconut3 cup
- pinch of salt1 unit(s)
- Mix the starch, coconut and salt.
- Take the banana leaf and put it on the fire to wither a little.
- Then take the leaf and place it above the stove flame.
- Place the leaf like a cross, place the gum in a square and close the four sides of the banana leaf.
- Place to bake in a heavy skillet.
- Note: Place a weight on top of the tapioca so the leaf does not open.
- Leave the tapioca on the fire until the straw that touches the skillet is burnt, turn it over and let the other side also have the burnt straw.
- To bake it will take about 6 to 7 minutes on each side on low heat.
- Note: It's worth remembering that you can't do it in a thin skillet.
