- Wheat flour3 cup
- Sugar2 cup
- Milk1 cup
- Margarine or butter3 tablespoon
- Eggs3 unit(s)
- Chemical yeast for cakes1 tablespoon
- Condensed Milk395 g
- Coconut Milk200 ml
- Grated Coconut1 to taste
- Beat the butter with the sugar and the yolks until you get a fluffy and whitish cream. With the mixer on, add the sifted flour with the yeast, alternating with the milk and coconut milk. Gently mix the beaten egg whites with the dough.
- Pour the dough into a medium rectangular pan, greased and floured. Take it to the medium oven (180°C), preheated, for about 40 minutes.
- Meanwhile, mix the grated coconut with the milk to hydrate. Remove the cake from the oven, pierce it with a fork and, still hot in the mold itself, cover the cake with the condensed milk and the moistened grated coconut.
