- Cornmeal400 g
- Garlic4 unit(s)
- Onion1 unit(s)
- Lard (optional) to taste
- Water2 l
- Salt to taste
- In a pan, place the crushed garlic, the chopped onions and the lard and let it brown.
- As soon as the water front is golden, cover with a lid and let it boil.
- After boiling, add the cornmeal already dissolved in the water and stir until it thickens to avoid lumps.
- Let it cook on low heat for approximately 30 minutes and it will be ready.
- How to prepare ground beef: In a pan I put 300g of ground beef, 3 cloves of garlic, 1 onion and the seasonings: chimichurri, Bahian seasoning, sweet paprika and oregano; let it fry until it releases all the water from the meat. Add water until covered, 2 tablespoons of tomato paste and salt to taste. Let it go well. After the polenta is ready, add the green smell next to the meat, place it on top of the polenta and enjoy!
