- Raw cashews1 cup
- Filtered water6 cup
- In a container with a lid, soak the chestnuts in 3 cups of water in the fridge for about 8 hours or overnight.
- Discard the soaking water and wash the chestnuts.
- Blend the chestnuts in a blender with 3 cups of fresh filtered water for about 4 minutes or until smooth.
- No need to strain!
- Store the milk in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- It is a great substitute for sour cream in recipes.
