- Olive oil1 tablespoon
- Salt, nutmeg, basil and black pepper1 to taste
- Using a mandolin, slice the chayotes into spaghetti shapes.
- In a heated pan, sauté the garlic with the oil over medium heat.
- Add the chayote and the rest of the seasonings
- Cover with the lid until you reach the desired consistency.
- Serve with olive oil and fresh basil leaves.
