- Gherkin400 g
- Filtered water500 ml
- Apple Cider Vinegar300 ml
- Sugar200 g
- Coriander seed1 tablespoon
- Mustard Seed1 tablespoon
- Allspice1 tablespoon
- Black pepper1/2 tablespoon
- Bay leaf1 unit(s)
- In a large pot, bring all the ingredients, except the gherkin, to a boil until the sugar dissolves.
- Turn off the heat and wait for the mixture to cool.
- Cut the gherkin in half lengthwise and place in the mixture in the pan.
- Leave in this mixture for at least 12 hours before consuming.
