- Soak the lentils for at least 20 minutes. This will make it start to absorb liquids and help to add flavor to it.
- Now with a pan, heat the oil and then sauté red onion, garlic, Cambuci pepper and girl's finger, which are all seedless. Then add a can of tomato and let it settle well.
- Add the lentils and then add the hot vegetable broth. Let it cook, stirring occasionally so it doesn't stick to the bottom of the pan. The point is when the lentil is level with the top of the pan and at the same time cooked.
- The whole process takes an average of 30 minutes.
