- Brown Rice1 cup
- White, black and red quinoa grain mix1/4 cup
- Red rice1/3 cup
- Flaxseed, sesame and chia mix1 teaspoon
- Sunflower Seed1 dessert spoon
- Cooked Butter Beans2/3 cup
- Sea Salt to taste
- Olive oil1 dessert spoon
- Chopped Garlic1 dessert spoon
- Bay Leaf1 unit(s)
- Fresh thyme sprig1 unit(s)
- Hot water2 cup
- Mix the brown rice with the quinoa, the red rice, the sunflower seed and the linseed, sesame and chia mix. Reserve.
- In a pan heat the oil and brown the garlic. Add the rice mixture and mix.
- Add hot water, salt, thyme and bay leaf and mix.
- Let the rice cook over high heat, if the water dries up and it is still not cooked, add more hot water.
- When ready, remove the bay leaf and thyme sprig and add the beans, mix. Close the lid of the pot and leave it there for 5 minutes before serving.
