- Recipe
- Chili1 unit(s)
- Smoked Tofu1 unit(s)
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Garlic Powder to taste
- Soy Sauce to taste
- Tomato sauce to taste
- paprika to taste
- Start by cutting the bell pepper in half and removing the white parts (the inside too)
- Put a thread of olive oil inside the pepper and with the help of a brush, brush this oil on the inside and outside of the pepper.
- Add salt and pepper to taste inside the bell pepper and set aside.
- For the filling, put olive oil in the pan, take your piece of smoked tofu and crumble it with your fingers (or with a fork) until it is in small pieces. Sauté the tofu in olive oil. (Regular tofu works too if you don't have smoked, but of course the taste will change)
- Season the tofu with salt, pepper, garlic powder and paprika. Then add a little soy sauce and, when everything is well incorporated, add tomato sauce and mix well. This will make the filling more creamy. Seasonings go to each one's taste, you can season differently depending on what you like!
- Once the stuffing is ready, just place it inside the bell pepper. I finished with a little cheese on top too
- Take the peppers to the medium to high oven for approximately 30 minutes, but this varies from oven to oven. Ideally, leave it until you reach the point in the photo, when he starts to want to create a burnt crust on the peppers (again, it depends on your taste)
- After that, just serve and enjoy! 😋
