- Flour2 cup
- Sugar1 cup
- Gossip juice (2 tangerines + 1/2 cup water)1 cup
- Water1/2 cup
- Oil1/2 cup
- Chemical Yeast1 tablespoon
- Tangerine juice (for syrup)1 cup
- Sugar (for syrup)1 cup
- Chop two tangerines and blend in a blender with 1/2 cup of water, strain and set aside.
- Grease a round baking dish (with a hole in the middle) with oil and flour.
- Turn on the oven to preheat by 180º
- Mix the flour and sugar in a bowl
- Add the tangerine juice, oil and water
- Mix until you have a homogeneous mass.
- Gently add the baking powder
- Put the dough on the baking sheet and put it in the oven.
- Bake for about 35 minutes or until golden.
- While the cake cools, make the syrup.
- Bring the tangerine juice and sugar to a boil.
- Boil for 5 minutes
- Place on top of the cake with the slightly warm syrup.
