- Sweet Potato110 g
- Broccoli80 g
- White onion80 g
- Wheat flour200 g
- Cold water3 cup
- Oil or vegetable fat500 ml
- Salt and sesame oil to taste
- wash all the vegetables, take the carrots and potatoes, peel them, then pass them on the grater, or cut them into thin sticks like pasta
- Cut the broccoli into small pieces, and the onion and chopsticks
- In a large bowl, add the vegetables, add ice water, let stand for 2 minutes, add wheat flour
- Mix well until a light dough forms with the vegetables, add salt and sesame oil to taste and mix again
- In a pan, add the oil or vegetable fat, take it to medium fire, let it warm up, from 150° to 160 degrees
- With the oil at the ideal temperature, use a fork to place the tempura to fry in small portions, let it fry for 4 to 6 minutes or until golden.
