  • Chemical Yeast1/2 teaspoon
  • Cocoa powder1/2 cup
  • Chopped walnuts2 tablespoon
  • Xylitol, cane molasses, or coconut sugar1 tablespoon
  1. Mash the bananas well until they become a paste. Mix with cocoa and yeast. Taste to assess the sweetness - if necessary add xylitol, molasses or coconut sugar (depends on the sweetness of the bananas).
  2. Lightly toast the walnuts in the oven or skillet. Add the walnuts, mixing carefully. Transfer to a SMALL shape lined with parchment paper or greased.
  3. Place in a preheated oven at 200 degrees. If it's a small oven, it's 10 to 15 min., if it's a large oven, leave it for 30 min., but keep an eye out so it doesn't go over. Remove from oven, let cool and cut into squares. To cover we use Belgian chocolate chips 70% cocoa without melted milk
