- Olive oil1/4 cup
- Miso paste2 tablespoon
- Separate the basil leaves from the stalks. Discard the stalks and use only the leaves
- In a food processor, add the basil leaves, walnuts and oil until the sauce is uniform.
- Add the miso paste and process once more.
- Note: the miso paste is quite salty. Therefore, it is recommended to add a spoon at a time, always experimenting, so that the amount of salt is to your liking.
- You can use vegan pesto in sandwiches, pasta and even salads.
