- Let's start preparing the textured soy protein, you can buy it in bulk or in the market. Heat half a pan of water, as soon as the water boils you add two cups of the soy protein and leave it for 10 to 15 minutes. After that time, you turn off the fire, and in a sieve you start to drain the water from the soy protein, until it gets very dry. Remembering that soy protein yields a lot After draining well, place in a pan, seasonings such as onion, garlic, a spoon of butter or olive oil to sauté, and add the soy protein, when it starts to dry, start seasoning according to your taste. It is very good to put turmeric, cumin, Worcestershire sauce, salt and so on. After seasoning add the tomato sauce or it can be homemade tomato sauce
